AMD Drivers from late 2012 onwards through to 2015 caused graphic artefacts with FSX in DX10 mode when running on AMD GPUs that are newer than the HD 6900 series. These artefacts appeared as scenery spikes or distortions.
As far as I can tell the latest AMD 2016 drivers no longer have this issue and work fine with FSX in DX10 mode.
This driver compatibility was entirely unrelated to DX10SceneryFixer and was never something that it could fix.
I still recommend that if you have an AMD card that you should first test running in DX10 Preview mode (ignoring the flashing runways) and determine that DX10 works satisfactorily on your system before purchasing the fixer.
